1. What CG Rush is
CG Rush is an independent educational project about 3D graphics run by Ivan Ivashchenko. It provides a visual learning board, articles, community-built statistics, an optional paid membership, and an optional mentorship club. It is not a school, not an employment agency, and issues no diplomas or certificates.
2. Accounts
- Signing in is optional — reading the board and free articles requires no account.
- You sign in through Discord or Google. Keep those accounts secure; actions taken through your account are treated as yours.
- One person = one account. Creating extra accounts to vote twice, submit multiple salary reports, or evade moderation is not allowed.
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Do not:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or post hateful or illegal content;
- spam, advertise, or mass-post links;
- submit knowingly false data to the salary survey or otherwise try to distort the statistics;
- attempt to bypass access controls, read other people's private rows, or probe the backend for vulnerabilities;
- scrape the site at scale, or republish our articles as your own;
- upload malware or anything that endangers other users.
4. Your content
“Your content” means chat messages, reactions, votes and salary reports you submit.
- You keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and — for the salary survey — include it in aggregate statistics on the site.
- You confirm you have the right to post it and that it is not confidential information belonging to your employer or client.
- We may edit, hide or delete content that breaks these terms, is spam, or distorts the statistics. Moderation is at our discretion.
- You can delete your own content at any time; see the Privacy Policy.
5. Community statistics — no guarantees
They are published for orientation only. They are not financial, career, tax or legal advice, and they are not a promise of what you can earn or a benchmark you can rely on in a negotiation, a contract or a dispute. Decisions you make based on them are your own.
6. Membership & payments
- Some content is available only to members. Membership is purchased and billed through Patreon.
- Access is granted through your Discord role: subscribe on Patreon, receive the CG Rush role in Discord, then sign in here with Discord. Signing in with Google alone cannot unlock membership content, because the entitlement is read from Discord.
- We never receive or store your payment details. Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds and disputes are handled by Patreon under Patreon's own terms.
- Cancel any time on Patreon. Access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the Discord role and premium access are removed.
- Membership content may be added, changed or retired over time.
7. Mentorship club
- The mentorship club is a paid subscription to live group sessions, not a course: there is no fixed curriculum, and the agenda is set by participants' own questions and projects.
- Sessions are held in small groups on a weekly schedule. Group size is limited so that everyone can be answered.
- It provides guidance and feedback based on professional experience. It does not guarantee employment, income, client results, or any particular outcome.
- Please do not share materials or recordings from sessions with people outside the club, and respect the privacy of other participants' work discussed there.
8. Our content
Articles, illustrations, the board layout, renders and the CG Rush name and logo belong to CG Rush or their respective owners. You may read, link to and quote them with attribution. You may not republish them wholesale, resell them, or present them as your own work. Third-party trademarks, software names and embedded videos remain the property of their owners.
9. Availability & changes
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. This is a small independent project: features may change, content may move, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or by a provider outage. We may modify or discontinue any part of it. We try to announce anything significant on the board and in Discord.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CG Rush is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or opportunities, or for decisions you take based on information found on the site — including the community statistics described in section 5. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
For paid services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any dispute arising out of or relating to them, or to your use of CG Rush, is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, the UK, or another country whose mandatory consumer-protection law grants you stronger rights, nothing here removes those rights or your ability to bring proceedings where the law entitles you to.
